Tell us something about yourself and what you love.
I'm a mother of 7 children, (yes all my natural children) in my professional life I am a Baker and I am also a fairly new Massage Therapist waiting to take my certification exam. I love helping people & helping them achieve optimal health.
What is your biggest challenge right now?
Deciding where I'm going with my personal and professional life. I am drawn to natural health alternatives/ with an emphesis in nutritional healing. and I'm researching for my own line of diatetic baked goods . I'm torn as to how to work both worlds. I am the creative force for the bakery & do enough baking to work all the kinks out when developing the products, then I am ready to move on. I am not a fast production person. So just being the Baker doesn't cut it for me, as far as just putting out the produced product. I need a production crew & a way to figure out my worth for pay in the kitchen…. Any ideas on that one would be of the greatest help!
What is your biggest opportunity?
See above….. There are great intrinsic rewards to both & possibly good financial as well. Finding decent priced wholesale supplies is a challenge for the gluten free supplies. I am currently searching. The world outside of wheat flour gets terribly expensive with rice flour being the most reasonable, but not the best used alone… nasty in fact would sumerize it for you.
What is something that most people don't know about you?
I am a Jill of many trades,…. I'm an open book and theres not much to know that is hidden.
I have sold products door to door, done home parties for various companies, given guided riverboat tours for a city parks & rec dept, taught pre-school thinking I wanted to be a teacher…. (They would put me in jail…. due to parents, not kids) tended bar & waited tables, and a few other odd things along the way. I've never met a stranger, I'm loyal almost to a fault, & I make a darned good friend. I homeschool my kids & had 3 of my babies at home! I'm a sexual abuse survivor and I've been on a healing journey for a while. I credit a large part of my most recent leg of this incedibbble adventure to Wendi, with her insight & teaching. She is challenging as well as compasionate always. I am a work in progress~
